Urban Sites DPD
The Urban Sites and Infrastructure Development Plan Document
(DPD) is one of the key documents of the Ashford Local Development
Framework (LDF) covering the period up to 2017. Its role is to
allocate land for development in the urban area of Ashford
(excluding the town centre) and outline several topic
policies relevant to urban planning issues.
The document has gone through a series of consultations, the
most recent being on the proposed changes to the DPD which took
place between Friday 21st October 2011 to Friday 2nd December
2011.
We are now in the process of reviewing the comments we have
received on the proposed changes and are aiming to formally submit
the document to the Secretary of State in February 2012.
Copies of the documents and representations are available
to view at:
A number of Background documents have been
used to inform and support the preparation of the DPD.
