Strategic Sites Team
The Strategic Sites Team is a mutli-disciplinary
group that’s has been brought together to deliver the planned
growth of Ashford. The staff are drawn from Ashford Borough Council
Planning Department, Kent County Council and Ashford's Future
Partnership Board and bring together expertise in Strategic
Planning, Urban Design, Transportation and Highways, and Legal
Services under one umbrella to ensure that high quality large scale
developments come forward in a co-ordinated way.

To deliver Ashford’s growth we will work with developers to
enable large scale, high quality projects to happen quickly. Our
Aim is to deliver development that makes Ashford a special town –
with strong, prosperous communities, exciting design and lasting
