We manage 12 car parks in Ashford town centre and Tenterden as well as on-street parking facilities. There are also a number of privately controlled car parks in Ashford town centre.

Ashford Shared Space Parking Restriction Enforcement begins 1 August 2010

Parking Services Annual Report 2008/2009

This report provides an overview of the service for the 12 month period between 1 April 2008 and 31 March 2009. It outlines the Council's corporate parking related objectives, the structure of the service and provides detail and information about operational activitiy throughout the period. The report also highlights some of the initiatives that were undertaken by the service in 2008/2009 and proposals for the future.

Parking charges across the borough rise on Thursday 29 April 2010.

It will now cost 90p to park for an hour in Ashford and 80p in Tenterden. Your can purchase further parking time in increments of 5p.

The minimum charge will be 30p.

Season tickets and long stay charges are also set to rise.

Changes to parking enforcement

Major changes to the way councils enforce parking came into affect on 31 March 2008.
