Residential Parking Permits
There are residential and
business on-street parking permit schemes in place designed to
provide on-street parking facilities in those neighbourhoods near
to Ashford Town Centre which suffer from parking and congestion
problems.
If you hold a resident’ or
business permit you may park in the spaces provided in the
appropriate zone the times indicated within the relevant
scheme.
Temporary visitors parking permits can
be purchased by residents and some businesses for £1 each.
When applying for a Resident or
Business permit please allow time for your application to be
processed. As a guide, following receipt (whether by post or
delivered personally to the Civic Centre) of your correctly
completed application form, the necessary documentation and payment
of the relevant charge, your permit will be posted to you within
five working days at the most. However, it is more likely that we
will be able to put it in the post to you, the next working
day.
