Blue Badge ParkingCar Park Disabled Bay

Designated Blue Badge parking bays are available on street and in Ashford Borough Council car parks for European Blue Badge holders.

 

Disabled Blue Badge Holders can park free of charge for up to three hours in Ashford Borough Council car parks. The Blue Badge and clock displaying the time of arrival should be displayed. Please see the tariff notice boards in the car parks for further information.

Disabled Parking Bays

You can apply for a Disabled Person's Parking Bay. Applicants must be in receipt of the High Rate Mobility Component of Attendance Allowance or, if the applicant was 65 or over when entitlement was first claimed, the Higher Rate of Attendance Allowance. Other entitlements including War Pensions may be considered in lieu of the above only in extenuating circumstances.

 

The applicant must be the the main driver of the vehicle.

Wheelchairs and electric powered scooters are available for hire at Shopmobility Ashford which is located in County Square Shopping Centre, Blue Carpark, Level-01, Ashford.
