Coronavirus Business Grants

Business Restart Grants (April 2021)

Following the announcement of the 2021 Budget, we are aware many businesses will be impacted by their continued closure. We have received government guidance on the operation of these new business grant schemes. Eligible businesses were emailed on 7 April 2021, inviting them to apply for the restart grants. We aim to make payments within 14 days of receipt of this response.

If you believe you are eligible for the restart grants but have not been contacted by us please email business.grants@ashford.gov.uk with your business rates account number.

Businesses that are not eligible for the Restart Grant and that have received an Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) (discretionary) previously will be contacted shortly.

Businesses that are not eligible for the Restart Grant and have not received an Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) (discretionary) previously should check the ARG Policy [pdf] 682KB and if they believe they would be eligible, email the ARG team (contact details in the policy) before 28 April 2021 to express their interest.
