The personal information and business details that you have provided will be used to process the Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant Scheme. As part of the application process, we may need to check any data you provide us against other information that we hold about you. We may also receive information from other parties or organisations, or share your data with them to check the accuracy of records. This will enable us to prevent or detect crime, or to protect public funds in other ways where the law allows.
As part of the reporting process back to the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), we will need to provide details of the business address, size and category as well as a contact email address. The information will be used by the Government for monitoring and evaluation purposes, as well as for prevention and detection of fraud and/or other criminal activities and for suspension and/or recovery of the grant where necessary. The Government may share information for the purpose of counter fraud activity and debt recovery with other government departments, agencies and/or local authorities.
