Vicki Henham
Vicki is our Senior Property Manager and she started working for the council in June 2003. Three years later she left her customer services role and moved into the housing team. She worked for six years as one of the council’s landlord liaison officers until 2012, when the council’s social lettings agency, ABC Lettings, was launched.
Much of the success of ABC Lettings has been due to the strong working relationships Vicki built with landlords in her previous role.
Vicki said: “At last the council is able to offer peace of mind for landlords who have had bad experiences in the past or are just starting out. The best feeling in the world is when a reluctant landlord starts to work with us and is quickly able to reap the benefits of a true hands-off style of management.”

Cornelia Wilson 
Cornelia has years of experience as a property manager with a high street lettings agency. She looked after more than 200 properties during her time in the private sector but joined the council in 2017 looking for a new challenge.
Cornelia predominantly works with landlords in the Folkestone and Hythe district. Since joining, she has more than doubled the number of properties in the borough and has brought on board many new happy landlords.
Cornelia has a can do attitude and says: "I love the sense of satisfaction when firstly you take on a new property, but secondly, helping genuine families – who struggle to find a home due to their circumstances. There are many people out there who just need a start."

Sarah Hall 
Our assistant property manager is Sarah Hall. She worked in the housing team for 17 years, moving over to ABC Lettings four years ago. Sarah looks after the repair and administrative aspects of our service as the first point of contact for landlords and tenants.
Sarah loves the variety of work that comes with the job as no two days are ever the same.

Ellie Ludford
Explaining what drives her, Ellie explains: "I have always had a passion for property and for helping others. As a result I get great satisfaction in my job role from being able to manage properties and help families that may have fallen on hard times. It gives me great pleasure to see a family make a house a home and get back on their feet.
"I love building rapport with landlords and walking them through every step of the process. It can be difficult for landlords to keep up with the ever changing legislation involved with letting a property and that is why we are here to help."
Lee Brown
Lee is a Property Manager for the private sector residential lettings owned by the council. Lee has a decade of knowledge and experience gained from a High Street agency background. He is proving an asset to the team with a wealth of organisational skills and attention to detail.

Louise Jones
Louise is our newest team member. She has worked for Ashford Borough Council since 2012 as a Benefits Officer before moving over to the Housing Options team as a Tenancy Sustainment Officer last year during the pandemic.
Louise is looking forward to her new role as a Property Manager and the different challenges it will bring.
