Graduate work placements

We have a successful graduate work placement scheme aimed at local graduates who need good quality work experience to help build their CVs. Graduate placements of up to 12 weeks are available for those seeking to explore a career in Local Government.

Work placement programme

Ashford Borough Council supports the youth agenda in a number of ways including providing work experience to local students. This year the council is looking to pilot a project based approach with a selection of local schools over a number of weeks in order to provide a quality experience.

Apprenticeships programme

Our apprenticeship programme at Ashford Borough Council is a work-based training programme where apprentices have the opportunity to develop job specific skills and gain a nationally recognised qualification.
