On Wednesday 30 June Ashford’s Community Safety Partnership will be spending the day at variations locations in Kennington, including Conningbrook Lakes, Little Burton and The Ridge/Spearpoint.

Officers from Ashford Borough Council will be joined by KCC Wardens, Kent Police, KFRS Fire Risk and Inspection Team and Neighbourhood Watch to look at issues affecting these areas and engage with residents and visitors.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service will be visiting shops and business to provide advice, the council’s environmental team will be looking at issues relating to litter in the area and carrying out dog warden patrols.

Kent Police cadets will be on hand to provide bike marking at The Ridge between 3pm and 5pm.

If residents within these areas have any concerns they wish to discuss with the Community Safety Partnership they can come and find a member of the team at either Conningbrook Lakes from 10am to 5pm or at The Ridge from 10am to 4pm.
