Spring is here as Ashford For You magazine arrives

Spring is now officially here as the latest edition of Ashford For You residents’ magazine from Ashford Borough Council has arrived.

The 24 page magazine includes news on plans for a Port Health facility at Sevington and describes how a new community at Chilmington Green is coming to life.

There are updates on the positive impact of the VERA response appeal and an interview with Ashford Volunteer Centre CEO Beth Peal on how they have supported the community.

The council is making a big investment in various leisure facilities across the borough including the new-look Stour Centre as our exclusive pictures show.

We are also launching this year's Ashford In Bloom gardening competition as well as sharing some tips and advice on how to make your garden glow this Summer and how we can all leave littering behind.

There are also updates on Victoria Park and our sheltered housing provision and two great competitions for our readers to enter.
