There is parking provision on hard standings for approximately 15 cars. Askes Court was built in 1986. All dwellings have full central heating with a gas-fired boiler and radiators. Baxendale bungalows were built in 1988, with all dwellings fully centrally heated with gas boiler and radiators; each dwelling is also fully double glazed and provides good sized, fully self-contained accommodation with a well-appointed kitchen. Pets are allowed in this scheme. The scheme has parking for 38 cars.
Each bungalow has its own small garden and to the rear of the communal lounge is a walled garden with patio area and a purpose built shed for two mobility scooters.

There are weekly sessions of bingo and coffee mornings. Parties are held for significant celebrations such as public holidays and birthdays. There are a number of shops within a five-minute walk including a Post Office, general shop and a hairdresser; similarly the bus stop with services to Ashford every hour is just a short walk away from the scheme. Every property has radiators in each room, within Cotton Hill House the heating is communal via an oil-fired boiler. Cotton Hill Walk and Carters Wood bungalows have their own independent heating systems.
Cotton Hill House has extensive lawned areas, but it's most striking feature is the large pond which is a haven for birds and wildlife of all sorts. The communal gardens are maintained by residents and Ashford Borough Council.

Danemore is currently going through an extensive remodelling programme. The new development is going to include 34 new apartments for Affordable Rent and four chalet bungalows for sale on the open market. The apartments will be a mixture of one and two bedrooms built to a high quality that is extra care ready. New communal facilities will be provided as well as much improved parking areas.
At present we are not re-letting any properties at Danemore. Those wishing to apply for housing at Danemore will need to register on Kent Homechoice. Allocation will occur nearer to completion of the scheme in 2018.
Danemore is just a short stroll from Tenterden town centre. It has just about all the shopping you are likely to need with a weekly market, Waitrose and Tesco but also has many exquisite boutiques. Phase 1 of Farrow Court was completed in December 2015. This included 33 new apartments with one and two bedrooms over three floors. Phase 2 is currently being built and will include an additional 51 apartments (one and two bedrooms), seven recuperative care flats, one guest room and 12 purpose-built flats for adults with learning disabilities. Every flat is spacious has a flush floor shower, integrated hob and oven, space for a washing machine and either a balcony or patio area. Phase 2 is due to be complete in summer 2017.

Farrow Court when fully completed will have extensive gardens and courtyards. This will include a cherry garden, herb garden, water courtyard and a sensory garden.
