Energy efficiency schemes and advice

Green Home Grant
On 8 July 2020 the Chancellor announced funding would be available to make homes more energy efficient.
Check the Simple Energy Advice website to find out what improvements may be suitable for your home.
Warm Homes Fund
Funding for eligible households (in receipt of benefits or on a low income with a health condition that is impacted by living in a cold home) to be connected to the gas mains, and first time gas central heating system. This funding is for either owned or privately rented homes that do not have:
- a gas meter/pipework connecting to the gas mains;
- an existing gas or any other 'wet' central heating system in the property;
- and is near to existing mains gas.

The Energy Companies Obligation (ECO)

We offer a help and advice service regarding general home improvements. We also support the Home Improvement Agency (Peabody South East Ltd). Peabody assist older, vulnerable and disabled owner-occupiers to make improvements, repairs and adaptations. This enables them to safely and comfortably remain in their own homes whilst maintaining their independence.

ECO Flexible Eligibility
The ECO Flexible Eligibility Report gives additional criteria that local authorities need to meet. The report amends the Local Authority Flexible Eligibility part of the Energy Company Obligation Scheme.
