Forces Connect

Ashford Borough Council works with a range of local and national organisations to support serving personnel, veterans, reservists, cadets and their families.

There are several ways to access support. Forces Connect is one option that can help you find relevant organisations, particularly beyond the local area.

If you are looking for help locally, we recommend starting with our main Armed Forces support page. This brings together Council services and trusted partner organisations covering housing, health and wellbeing, employment, finances and community support.

What is Forces Connect?

Forces Connect is an online directory that helps members of the Armed Forces community find advice and support services across the UK.

It can be useful if you:

• Are unsure where to start
• Need support outside Ashford or Kent
• Are looking for specialist national services

Forces Connect is a signposting tool, not an emergency service or a casework provider.

Using Forces Connect

The directory allows you to search for organisations by topic, including:

Each listing explains what the organisation offers and how to contact them.

Access Forces Connect
