What Local Plans form the Development Plan?
The Development Plan is the basis for determining planning applications in the borough. Ashford's Development Plan is made up of the following Local Plans:

- Chilmington Green Area Action Plan (AAP)
- Aldington & Bonnington Neighbourhood Plan
- Boughton Aluph & Eastwell Neighbourhood Plan
- Charing Neighbourhood Plan
- Egerton Neighbourhood Plan
- Pluckley Neighbourhood Plan
- Rolvenden Neighbourhood Plan
- Tenterden Neighbourhood Plan
- Wye with Hinxhill Neighbourhood Plan, and
- the Kent Minerals and Waste Local Plan / Early Partial Review

Guidance on Local Plan policies
