Job Club

The Job Club is open on Fridays 10am–1pm at The Gateway. There are six PCs available to maintain social distancing and we are requesting people visiting the Job Club to continue to wear face coverings to protect our vulnerable clients. Should you be medically exempt from wearing face coverings please inform staff on your arrival.

A new Job Club is now running every Tuesday at Pluto House, Station Road, Ashford from 1pm to 4pm, in addition to Friday's Job Club at Ashford Gateway. There’s no need to make an appointment. If you want to attend, just come along. You just need to press on the buzzer on the entrance to Pluto House and someone from reception will let you in. It’s informal and friendly, and we can help with all sorts of job searching and careers advice. This Job Club has links to East Kent College too, so if you want to know more about what courses are on offer currently, pop along to have an informal chat.

Our Employment & Support Advisor is on hand to help you with your job searching via email. If you would like some job searching help (such as templates, tips and advice) please email jobclub@ashford.gov.uk* with your query and contact details and we will get in touch with you.

*Your email address will be securely held by the Job Club team part of Ashford Borough Council and used only to send job searching information. Processing is being conducted under a consensual legal basis and you can opt out at any time by replying 'unsubscribe' to any correspondence received.
