Community safety affects us all - young and old, men and women, minority groups, special interest groups, the business community, the voluntary sector, victims and offenders. In fact, everyone who lives, visits or works in the borough.
It is about improving residents' quality of life and reducing the fear of crime by ensuring our communities are safe places, and taking a partnership approach to tackling crime and anti-social behaviour.
In the following pages you can find information on a range of services offered by us and our partners, ranging from antisocial behaviour, crime prevention and how to report a crime.
The Community Safety Unit is the operational element of the Community Safety Partnership, which comprises many organisations including:
- Ashford Borough Council
- Kent Police
- Kent Fire and Rescue Services
- Kent Probation Service
- Kent County Council
