Council Tax Recovery Costs

Your council tax bill is normally payable in ten monthly instalments. These instalments start in April and finish in January. Your monthly payment is usually due on the first of the month. Your bill will provide your payment date.

You must pay your council tax on or before the due date shown on your bill. If you do not do so, we will take further recovery action. Information on how to pay can be found on the methods of payment page.

Alternatively, you can set up a direct debit to pay your council tax.

If you receive any notice or text from us regarding the non-payment of your council tax, please do not ignore it!

Doing this may mean further action will be taken and you will have to pay more.

If you require a payment arrangement, please complete our online form and an Council Tax Officer will be in contact to discuss this with you. Please note, this is in regards to an unsummonsed balance only.
