Proven Success Drives Expansion of ‘Upcycle Your Skills’ Across Kent

Following the standout success of its Spring programme, SUEZ in collaboration with CXK is scaling up its Upcycle Your Skills initiative with renewed investment from Ashford, Maidstone and Swale Borough Councils to deliver an expanded Autumn programme.

Delivered in partnership with CXK and local authorities, the programme has already made a tangible difference, helping young people across Kent build confidence, develop practical skills and take real steps toward employment, education and training.

Its impact has been so strong that all three councils have committed to funding a second round, backing a model that is delivering results.

Designed for young people not currently in education, employment or training (NEET) or at risk of falling into that category, the free five-week programme combines hands-on workshops, one-to-one coaching and direct employer engagement.

Crucially, participants also gain the opportunity to interview for live vacancies with SUEZ, turning potential into real-world job prospects.

More than just a course, Upcycle Your Skills is changing lives by equipping young people with the confidence, motivation and career readiness to move forward into jobs.
