Motor vehicles weighing less than 3.5 tonnes:

Daily charge for Station Road (East and West) car parks: £1.30 per hour, payable in 5p increments

Minimum payment: 65p (30 minutes)

Over 4 hours: £13.20

Coaches (parking in east side only)

Up to 3 hours: FREE

Up to four hours: £8.10

Over 4 hours: £13.20

Coaches parking for the 3 hour free period still need to obtain a free pay and display ticket from the ticket machine to allow for this to be properly monitored. Instructions on how to obtain a ticket can be found on the tariff board adjacent to the ticket machine.

For coaches parked longer than three hours a pay and display ticket needs to be obtained covering the entire length of stay

COACHES ONLY INFORMATION

Station Road car park (east side) is restricted for use by coaches only from the Sunday before Easter each year to 1 October, to better serve the town during the tourist season.

Signs will be changed at the entrance and elsewhere and information given to signify the use of this area as a designated coach park during the tourist season
