Coty donates 7776 bottles of hand sanitiser to local groups in Ashford

Businesses are continuing to play a vital role in supporting communities during the pandemic, as Coty demonstrated this week. The company has donated 7,776 bottles of hand sanitiser produced at its Ashford site to the council for distribution to local groups across the borough. The Ashford Coty site has been manufacturing some of Coty’s iconic brands for many years, including RIMMEL and MAX FACTOR. Coty Ashford employs more than 500 people.

Coty’s Heather Hayward (also a borough councillor) is pictured with the council’s Alan Brind after delivering the products. “This is a fantastic gesture by Coty. We will be distributing the hand sanitisers to local charities, food banks, street pastors working with the homeless and many other voluntary groups who are doing such vital work in supporting our communities,” said Alan.

“We are delighted to play our part in supporting the council and the people of the borough during this difficult and challenging time,” added Heather.
