Following completion of necessary repair work to Edinburgh Road car park, it reopened on Monday 5 December. The car park is open 24 hours a day, every day of the week.

Those with valid town centre season tickets who had temporarily been permitted to use Park Mall car park, will now need to go back to using Edinburgh Road car park.

Also, this December shoppers can once again enjoy free parking in all council-owned car parks in Ashford and Tenterden. Free parking will be available in both town centres to encourage residents and visitors to do their Christmas shopping locally and support our local businesses in these difficult times.

Free Christmas parking will be available on the following days and times:

Friday 9, 16 and 23 December - FREE after 3pm

Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 December - FREE all day

Details on council-owned car parks can be found on our website at www.ashford.gov.uk/parking

“Ashford and Tenterden have a lot to offer shoppers and we encourage residents to support their home town by doing their Christmas shopping locally to help boost trade for our hardworking, home-grown businesses.”
