Spring edition of Ashford For You magazine takes centre stage

The latest edition our residents’ magazine Ashford For You is now out.

Taking centre stage in the Spring edition is the opening of a major new arts hub for the county – the internationally renowned dance company Jasmin Vardimon is settling into a new Creative Enterprise Quarter on the Henwood industrial estate.

We also feature the results of a residents’ survey while explaining more about crucial changes to local elections coming up in May, where people will have to show photo ID in polling stations before they are allowed to vote. Don’t have suitable photo ID? Read our article to find out how you can receive one, free of charge.

We pop into Victoria Park for the latest on the range of exciting improvements underway, and there are tips on eating well and spending less in the latest of our cost of living features.

The Council has invested in a new online system for planning applications and top of our priority list is making sure it works for the people of the borough – learn how to view or comment on applications that matter to you!

Copies of the magazine will also be available at various locations across the borough including: Ashford Gateway, Civic Centre, County Square shopping centre, Ashford Designer Outlet, Chamber of Commerce, Tenterden Town Hall and various local shops.
