Summer’s here! Latest edition of Ashford For You magazine arrives

The Summer edition of our residents’ magazine - Ashford For You – is on its way.

In the latest edition we showcase various initiatives to keep residents safe and focus on how our town centres are changing - including some recent announcements on The Odeon, Elwick Place and Park Mall.

Exciting changes are on the horizon for the Civic Quarter along Tannery Lane, and we're encouraging everyone to get moving this summer and visit one our leisure centres or make the most of the outdoors by getting active by foot or by bike.

Fairs, festival and family adventures will fill the borough with colour, culture and fun over the next few months, and there is a helping hand if you are in need of a wellbeing boost. 

Change is coming to local government, so we are asking residents whether Ashford should have a Town Council. We also share some recycling tips and advice and have some fantastic competitions to enter.

This magazine is distributed to all households in the borough via Royal Mail, and covers what’s going on in the local area, profiling services, community groups and places. 

We want to ensure we are communicating with all our residents and keeping them abreast of what is happening across the borough and the services we provide.

While we know many residents use digital methods of communication, such as our website and social media channels, and our monthly e-newsletter Borough Brief we do not reach everyone this way, so we produce a borough-wide magazine to complement the other ways we communicate with our community.
