Update for waste collections outstanding from Tuesday 19 July

We thank you for your understanding yesterday Tuesday 19 July when we suspended recycling, food and garden waste collections at 12pm due to the health and safety of our crew in this extreme heat. (Thank you for the nice feedback on the crews too).

Those collections not completed Tuesday 19 July will be made as follows:

Food Waste – will be collected next Tuesday 26 July alongside the refuse bin

Garden Waste – will be collected this Saturday 23 July

Recycling – will be collected in a fortnights’ time, Tuesday 2 August. Any recycling that you cannot fit into the green recycling bin can be presented either in a cardboard box or clear sacks.

If you require clear sacks please let us know by either phone on 01233331111 or email customer.care@ashford.gov.uk and they will be available to collect from Civic Centre or Ashford Gateway.

Please ensure you put your bins out on the relevant days by 6am. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.
