Bulky Item Collection
We will collect bulky domestic waste that you would expect to take with you if you were moving house. This includes furniture, white goods (Please note: Fridges and Freezers must be empty of all contents including food), electrical appliances.
Please note that we cannot take DIY materials or builders' waste. Examples of which include the following:
- Other construction material waste including plasterboard and similar broken up fixtures and fittings made from such materials
Items need to be out by 6am on the day of collection. Items need to be clearly visible at the front of the property nest to the road and ready to be collected at any time during the day.
Please be aware that white goods are collected separately to all other bulky items.
There is a minimum charge of £24.00 (increases to £25 from 1 April 2020) , which is payable at time of booking, This fee covers the collection of up to four items, including one white goods item.
A full refund will be provided if you cancel or amended your booking up to two working days before the collection date, a full refund will be provided. No refund will be provided if the booking is cancelled less than two working days before collection. The overall cost will be based on the number and volume of items being collected.
The following items cannot be collected:
- Car parts
- Window units/mirrors
- Garage and patio doors
- All external doors
- Hazardous waste
- Builders rubble and glass
- Length of metal or wood above 2 metres
- Any item that 2 operatives cannot safely lift
- Commercial waste
- Industrial waste
- Loose garden waste
- Large items must be dismantled e.g. Trampolines
