Water saving devices for homes

A project in collaboration with Control Flow Technologies Group

We’re excited to let tenants and leaseholders know that their homes will receive a FREE water-saving device that should help lower their water and energy bills. The devices help save water by regulating water flow and stabilising water pressure, resulting in water being heated more efficiently, therefore reducing your water and energy bills.

We have partnered with Control Flow Technologies Group who will contact you directly to book an appointment via telephone or in person when they are visiting your area. A member of the Control Flow team will check the water flow rate in your property and identify and fix any minor leaks where possible. If your home is suitable, Control Flow Technologies Group will install a FREE Control Flow water-saving device. This will take approximately 30-45 minutes.

If you would like to book an appointment, you can book directly through the Booking Portal.

If you want to chat to them directly, they can be contacted via email at watersaving@controlflow.co.uk or via telephone on 0800 783 700.

Frequently Asked Questions

+ What is a Water MOT or Water Audit?

Our service varies depending on location. Ordinarily, a Control Flow Technologies Group team member will visit your home to check water flow rates and, where possible, address any minor leaks. If suitable, we’ll install a Control Flow water-saving device, which helps reduce water and gas usage without any noticeable changes in your water flow.

+ How much does the service cost?

The device, service and installation are FREE. Funded by your local council, housing association or water company.

+ How long does it take to install a Control Flow device?

Our Control Flow engineer will be in your home for about 30-45 minutes to conduct the service. During this time this will determine which product is most suitable for your home by checking the flow of water coming from your taps and showers.

+ How do Control Flow devices save me money?

By regulating the flow, the device reduces water wastage which can be caused by the fluctuations in pressure and flow that occur throughout the day in the mains system.

You can get in contact with us via email watersaving@controlflow.co.uk or by calling 0191 222 3325. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
