Ashford Urban Public Spaces Protection Order - Have your say now
Published: 11/12/2025
Our Community Safety team have launched a consultation on proposed changes to the current Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) for the Ashford Urban area.
We’re encouraging everyone to have their say directly on our consultation portal where you can view a detailed list of current and proposed restrictions.
Please use the consultation portal to have your say and provide feedback before midnight on Sunday 4 January 2026.
Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPO) are intended to deal with a particular nuisance or problem in a particular area that is detrimental to the local community’s quality of life, by imposing conditions on the use of that area which apply to everyone.
They are designed to ensure the law-abiding majority can use and enjoy public spaces, safe from anti-social behaviour and are in line with the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. For more information on PSPOs visit our dedicated web page.
A reminder that if you witness any ASB including potential breaches to the PSPOs, you can report this directly to us using the following link on our Safer Communities web portal.
