Published: 07/10/2025
To mark World Menopause Day, local women’s health advocates Sam Griffin and Jo Adams are thrilled to announce Thriving 2025, an empowering and comprehensive event designed to support women navigating the menopausal transition.
The full-day event is dedicated to equipping attendees with practical tools and knowledge to manage symptoms and thrive during this significant life stage.
"Menopause isn't just a physical change; it's a complete shift in a woman's life that deserves a holistic approach," says co-host Sam Griffin. "We created Thriving to be a positive, informative, and fun day where women can feel supported and leave with actionable strategies for better health and wellbeing."
A Day of Holistic Wellbeing
Thriving 2025 is packed with expert-led talks and engaging activities from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at The Coachworks. The agenda is carefully curated to address the most common challenges associated with perimenopause and menopause, including:
- Nutrition and Women's Health: Practical advice on how diet can support hormonal balance.
- Fitness and Movement: Sessions including Pilates and Zumba to demonstrate movement's role in bone, joint, and mental health.
- Sleep and Menopausal Mental Health: Crucial discussions on managing insomnia and addressing emotional and cognitive changes.
- Mindfulness and Self-Care: A guided session on journalling as a powerful tool for emotional processing.
Exclusive Spa Indulgence
Adding a touch of luxury to the day, The Granary Spa will be offering FREE mini spa treatments to attendees, providing a moment of relaxation and pampering.
"We want every woman who walks through the door to feel celebrated," adds co-host Jo Adams. "By covering everything from what you eat to how you move and how you rest, Thriving 2025 offers a complete roadmap to feeling your best during these years. And with the generous support of The Granary Spa, it’s going to feel like a real treat."
