Regulation 18 Consultation

What is a Regulation 18 consultation?

Between 18 August and 13 October 2025, the council consulted on a draft Local Plan 2042.  This version of the Local Plan shows the intended direction of travel for the Local Plan.  As part of this work the council sought comments from the local community and residents about what the draft Local Plan should cover.

Please note the consultation has now closed.

Where can I view the documents?

The draft Local Plan and evidence documents are all available to view on our Consultation portal.

These documents can be viewed on the right-hand side panel of the webpage under the ‘consultation documents’ section.

What happens next?

Following the close of the consultation, the council will carefully consider and review the comments received as part of the consultation to help inform the next iteration of the draft Local Plan.
