Official Certificate of Search
During the conveyancing process, the Official Certificate of Search (or LLC1 as its also known) is intended to confirm what local land charges, if any, are registered against the property. This then provides a warning to the prospective purchaser of the restrictions that may be on the property or land.
From 20 April, an Official Certificate of Search can be obtained from HM Land Registry. See Register Migration
