ABC Lettings Landlord Forum 2026

ABC Lettings is inviting local landlords to attend its upcoming Landlord Forum, delivered in partnership with the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA).

This free event is designed to support landlords across Ashford and the wider borough, providing timely updates, practical advice and expert insight into the key changes affecting the private rented sector.

The Forum will cover a range of important topics, including:

• An overview of the Renters’ Rights Act (RRA) 
  Other key legislative and regulatory changes
  Practical guidance for landlords managing one property or a full portfolio
  The opportunity to ask questions directly to industry experts and the council’s housing team

Landlords are also encouraged to shape the session by submitting questions or topic suggestions in advance.

The event will also feature a guest presentation from Suzanne Smith, founder of The Independent Landlord.

Suzanne brings a unique mix of legal expertise and real‑world landlord experience. A former General Counsel turned portfolio landlord, she founded The Independent Landlord in 2022 to provide clear, practical guidance for landlords. Her work is now a trusted resource for tens of thousands of landlords and property professionals nationwide.
