Summer edition of Ashford For You magazine arrives

The Summer edition of our residents’ magazine - Ashford For You – has arrived. 

We include a bumper what’s on guide on where to go and what to do in the borough over the summer months and we also have exciting news about the launch of our Community Awards – could you nominate a local hero?

We cover how town centres are changing and what Local Government Reorganisation could mean for Ashford Borough Council and the services we deliver in the future.

There are so many wonderful community groups and services out there which could boost your wellbeing, and now the nicer weather has arrived we talk about how you could show your garden some love or help keep our community spaces clean.

We also focus on parking, Stodmarsh and how the Ashford Port Health service based in Sevington is helping to keep our food chain and our borders safe.

This magazine is distributed to all households in the borough via Royal Mail, and covers what’s going on in the local area, profiling services, community groups and places. 

We want to ensure we are communicating with all our residents and keeping them abreast of what is happening across the borough and the services we provide.

While we know many residents use digital methods of communication, such as our website and social media channels, we do not reach everyone this way, so we produce a borough-wide magazine to complement the other ways we communicate with our community.
