Winter 2025 edition of Ashford For You magazine arrives

The Winter edition of our residents’ magazine - Ashford For You – has arrived. 

We include a double page spread on the worthy winners from our Ashford Community Awards and provide an update on our emerging Local Plan, which will play an important role in shaping our borough's future growth.

We also explain the changes to local government being proposed, and ask residents to consider if they want to create an Ashford Town Council. We also cover the all-important Christmas waste collection changes, some festive recycling tips and a showcase on allotments.

In addition, we look at Mill View's transformation after the terrible explosion features, while we proudly fly the flag on Victoria Park, which received national recognition - making it one of the very best open spaces in the country.

There is plenty going on in our bumper what's on guide and at this time of year, it is important to look after your wellbeing, so we share details of some community groups and schemes which could give you boost.

Residents can expect to receive a copy delivered straight to homes from this week.

This magazine is distributed to all households in the borough via Royal Mail, and covers what’s going on in the local area, profiling services, community groups and places. 

We want to ensure we are communicating with all our residents and keeping them abreast of what is happening across the borough and the services we provide.

While we know many residents use digital methods of communication, such as our website and social media channels, we do not reach everyone this way, so we produce a borough-wide magazine to complement the other ways we communicate with our community.
