Consultees

will be expected to:

  • Provide a substantive response within the consultation period (or otherwise advise the case officer if this is not possible). If a response is not received from the consultee within the consultation period, the case officer will have the discretion to progress the application to decision.

  • Comment only on matters related to material planning considerations and within the scope of the consultation.

  • Provide draft conditions with associated reasons/reasons for refusal when appropriate in accordance with the 6 tests set out in para 56 of the current NPPF.
