Process Flow: Non-major planning application

Flow chart showing how non-major planning applications are processed. A new application is received and then we assess the validation of an application. If it is invalid then further information is required from the applicant. If it is valid then a formal consultation/publicity (website included) is carried out in-line with Statement of Community Involvement (SCI). At the same time, initial checks and a site inspection will be carried out. Then there will be a professional assessment followed by a report and recommendation. Senior agreement is then gained before a decision is issued and made.
