Election of a Parish Councillor

for the Parish listed below

1. Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, International House, Dover Place, Ashford, Kent, TN23 1HU, who will, at the request of an elector prepare a nomination paper for signature. 
    
2. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, International House, Dover Place, Ashford, Kent, TN23 1HU on any day after the date of this notice, on Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4pm on Friday, 29th May 2026. 
    
3. If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 25th June 2026. 
    
4. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by midnight on Tuesday 9 June 2026. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote   
    
5. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at International House, Dover Place, Ashford, Kent, TN23 1HU by 5pm on Wednesday, 10th June 2026. You may apply online or download a form at https://www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote 
    
6. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 17 June 2026. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate  
    
7. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at International House, Dover Place, Ashford, Kent, TN23 1HU by 5pm on Wednesday, 17th June 2026. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/how-to-vote/voting-by-proxy 
    
8. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at International House, Dover Place, Ashford, Kent, TN23 1HU by 5pm on Thursday, 25th June 2026
