Eat Well Spend Less Wellbeing Roadshow comes to Willesborough

If you need extra support as a result of the cost of living then come along to our Eat Well Spend Less (EWSL) and Wellbeing roadshow on Tuesday 21 January from 10am to 2pm at Willesborough Baptist Church, Hythe Road, TN24 0QR.
The event brings together a range of partner organisations including frontline NHS staff and Ashford Borough Council officers, outreach organisations and charities, in one easy-to-access place.
Our first EWSL & Wellbeing Roadshow of 2025 will be delivered to provide our community with resources, support, opportunities and to empower residents to become more resilient.
The new year also signals a perfect time to boost your health and wellbeing. You'll be able to receive information from many different services and it could just provide the perfect opportunity for you to get a free health check or find out more about the offer of the One You Shop in Ashford.
We are pleased to let residents know that the NHS Kent & Medway Vaccination Programme will be available at this roadshow with the team administering COVID & Flu Winter vaccines to those eligible.
Anyone who attends will be able to benefit from guidance on shopping, preparation and cooking healthy, nutritious meals. There will also be Information on where and how to access local food banks along with community venues who offer free, pay as you feel or very reasonably priced meals in a social setting. Residents will also be given recipe bags with all ingredients to make a recipe along with instructions.
