Guidance on damp and mould

We would like all residents in council-owned homes to get in touch as soon as possible over any concerns over damp and mould within the property. Damp and mould can be concerning when spotted and we will investigate any reports and make sure that the issue is not caused by a defect with the property.

We have set up a specific form to report any concerns relating to damp and mould, while we have also produced a leaflet [pdf] 6120KB which provides practical advice on how to keep your home warm, ventilated and producing less moisture which will limit condensation build up.

These tips and tricks are just part of our work as a landlord, however the leaflet also tells you what to do if you are not happy after we have investigated your problem.
