Inspect the Local Land Charges Register

Visiting our offices from 1 December 2021

With restrictions lifting and access now possible to our Civic Centre reception, inspection of the Local Land Charges register will resume from 1 December 2021.

Various safety precautions will be in place such as:

  • reduced appointments to allow for longer breaks between appointments
  • hand sanitiser available
  • sanitiser wipes available
Access to the Local Land Charges Register appointment criteria
Time: Monday - Friday, 9.00am-4.00pm
Appointment length: 30 minutes maximum - appointments on the hour
Location: Civic Centre reception - Room 1
Cost: Free of charge

At your appointment: (first visit only) Set up user account creating a login and password

Full guidance notes will be available for your reference and/or a member of the team available on your first visit to guide you through the system.  However, generally a Local Land Charges Officer will not be available to assist therefore a basic knowledge of the Personal Search System and Local Land Charges Register is required.

For each request, you will receive:

  • An email confirming we are in receipt of your request
  • Confirmation of the date and time that the information will be available for you to access. (This will be arranged as close to your preference as possible but at least 24 hours after receipt) If you require an alternative date or time, please advise us as soon as possible by e-mail.
