People living around Noakes Meadow in south Ashford are being invited to have their say on planned improvements to the local play area and open space by Ashford Borough Council.

The council has secured funding under Section 106 (Local Development) to make improvements to the Noakes Meadow play area and open space. Due to the nature of the funding, it can only be spent on improving the open space and replacing and upgrading the play areas there.

The council has written to local residents to explain that it has created an online survey on its website for people to express their views, including on what type of play equipment they think will be best suited. The survey is open until Friday 9 February and can be completed online.

The letter also includes a QR code which people can use to access the online survey.

Anyone you would prefer to receive a paper copy of the survey should email and one will be supplied.
