Residents on certain benefits and over a certain age can have a variety of payments made available to them. The following payments can be used to help keep your home warm:
Support for older people
Residents over 70 with a heart or lung condition can contact the In Touch Home Improvement Agency on 0800 028 3172. They will arrange a home assessment to see if you would benefit from winter warmth support.
Their support can range from benefit advice to more practical measures. These measures include providing blankets, heaters and draught excluders.
