Information for Recruitment Consultants

The council has its own in-house recruitment team and sources candidates via advertising on its website or in trade press.  We do not regularly use recruitment agencies for our permanent recruitment and therefore our operations managers are not able to take unsolicited sales calls. 

Occasionally we use recruitment agencies for permanent recruitment when we have not been able to source candidates directly. Such usage is arranged by the HR team who can be contacted on human.resources@ashford.gov.uk.

We have a preferred supplier arrangement for our temporary recruitment and pleased to confirm that we have a contract to work with HR GO, New Appointments Group and Service Care for our temporary staffing needs. This contract runs until 31 March 2024 when it will be up for tender again.
