Stage 1a - Validation

The validation process is carried out in accordance with the Ashford Validation Checklist and within 5 working days from receipt.

Stage 1b – Relevant Consultations

In view of their impact on timescales it is essential that consultations are carefully managed and issued promptly.

Consultation responses will be critically examined to ensure that any further information requested is essential to inform a planning assessment of development proposals and ultimately the decision-making process.

Stage 1c - Public Consultation (Advertising and Neighbour Notification)

Advertisement and neighbour notification will be carried out in accordance with the Ashford public consultation protocol.
